Suite "A.S. Griboedov" with a view of Nevsky Prospekt

The Suite is named after the outstanding Russian writer and diplomat Alexander Griboyedov. It was here, on Bolshaya Morskaya Street, 14, that the author of the play "Woe from Wit" rented one of the apartments when he arrived in St. Petersburg from Persia in 1828 with the text of the Turkmanchay peace Treaty. This apartment became Griboyedov's last address in St. Petersburg. From here, in June 1828, after being appointed Ambassador Plenipotentiary, he went on a diplomatic mission to Persia.

The room consists of a bedroom and a spacious living room. The windows overlook the corner of Bolshaya Morskaya Street and Nevsky Prospekt.
