In the days when glorious city of St. Petersburg has been celebrating just another anniversary of its foundation, the Taleon Club has specially marked by celebration with nearly equal magnificence another, more local, event. Just a year ago the Eliseev Palace Hotel, the very first five-star club hotel in Russia was opened. It has 29 spacious suites and includes in its standards of service not only around the clock room-service, access to the Internet and TV programmes vie satellite network, but service by individual butlers, which is unique in St. Petersburg. This year in token of its international recognition the Eliseev Palace Hotel was accepted into The Leading Small Hotels of the World, the prestigious association of the best small hotels.
Among guests at the dinner were heads of the Consulates General of India, Switzerland and Japan. On the rainy evening of 29 May the amazing variety singer Tamara Gverdtsiteli’s concert became a real festive gift to the Taleon Club guests, and a Show of Fountains with light and music organized by the French company Aquarelle on the River Moika Embankment became a pleasant surprise for the St. Petersburg’s public.
